Large cabinet specimen of golden honey Calcite on Sphalerite. This one comes from Smith County, Elmwood, Tennessee. It was collected from the famous Elmwood Mine. This Zinc producing mine was flooded and closed in 2003. A great piece for the locale collector. It features a matrix of ruby red flash Sphalerite topped with gemmy golden honey Calcite crystals.
